Who are you?
I am Marlin Guerrero from Puerto Rico. I have a Barbershop with other 2 partners to work with me.
What is your Business?
My business is Livingston Barbershop. I cut, blow dry, and color hair for men and women. We also do beard shaving and waxing.
How did you start your Business?
I started the Barbershop with my 2 other partners. We make sure that clients feel like home, and our idea is that everyone feels welcome comfortable. Along with the feeling that we are trustworthy.
How did you advertise your business?
In the beginning we advertised with newspapers, social media, and handle coupons
What were the biggest challenges when starting your business?
My own fears of starting a business.
What motivates you?
Life. We all are here for a purpose, so every day thank God for a new day.
What is your biggest achievement?
That every client feels comfortable and they can trust us.
What are your top three priorities?
1) Be a Good Mother
2) Be the best I can at work
3) Enjoy life
What is some advice you would give to young entrepreneurs?
Don't give up and be persistent!
What do you think makes a entrepreneur successful?
Don't give up you need to be persistent even during the hardest times. The love you have for your business and clients, too.
What is success to you?
The bonding that I have with our customers makes us a success.
